The Problem
Auburn Swanson Intermediate School had issues with their four 20-year-old roof top units. The out dated units left Auburn Swanson School with issues combined with the high cost of running the electric heating units.
The Solution
Guardian Energy recommended installing four new high efficiency propane heating units. These new units also improved the cooling efficiency which took the closed damper leakage from 10% OA to 3% OA. The electric heating unit was eliminated and replaced with more affordable high efficiency propane heat.
Project Details
Guardian Energy provided Auburn Swanson School with the design, engineering and implementation of four new roof top units. The replaced units were 20 years old and in need of an upgrade, this opportunity led to energy efficiency and the reduction of operational costs.
